Hit 5000 square feet of stamped concrete last week and flipped my opinion on cheap release powder
Used to think any old release agent would do the job, but a massive blowout on a patio taught me otherwise. Anybody else learn the hard way that bargain powder ruins your color consistency?

You ever try that cheap stuff from the big box store? I did once on a walkway and it looked like a zebra with the color all splotchy. Switched to a mid-tier brand with a consistent particle size and never looked back. Saved me a headache on a big driveway last month too.
