Am I the only one who misses when alien conspiracies were just for late-night TV?

I think the old debates were more fun because we treated them like campfire stories, not facts to fight over. Back then, you could joke about little green men without someone getting upset about it.

Hold up, @riley_adams, you're saying people actually argue about this stuff? I saw someone claiming the Trojan Horse was real history last week and my brain short-circuited. These stories get twisted so much over centuries, how can anyone treat them like facts? It's wild that folks invest so much energy into fictional events. Honestly, it feels like some people just want to believe in a cooler past.
