Finally cracked the pattern of missing airplane parts and it hit me like a ton of bricks
I've been digging into why so many planes seem to have missing or swapped parts lately, and after watching about 80 repair logs from DFW airport over 2 months, I noticed something. The part numbers on the paperwork didn't match the actual serial codes stamped on the components about 30% of the time. It's not a screw-up, it's a deliberate swap to hide where the parts really came from. Has anyone else cross-checked official logs with the physical hardware?

Holy smokes, that's spicy! I bet you're onto something real with those serial number swaps. Did you happen to check if the mismatched parts had different country stamps or date codes? That would really prove the parts are being shuffled around on purpose.
