My neighbor's backyard theory about chemtrails caught me off guard

So I was out grilling last Saturday, and my neighbor Bob comes over with his iced tea. He starts talking about how the white lines in the sky are actually weather control experiments, not just plane exhaust. I always thought chemtrail people were a little out there, but he showed me this map on his phone tracking planes over our town of about 8,000 people. He said there were 12 different planes leaving trails within an hour last Tuesday morning. It made me wonder... what if there's some truth to it, or is it just a way to sell more aluminum foil hats? Has anyone else had a neighbor drop a wild theory that actually made you stop and think?

Bob's got a point about the sheer volume, but that's still a long way from mind control.

Trying to tune out the noise is what actually helped me. I just stopped engaging with the conspiracy stuff altogether after a while. Unfollowed a few people who kept posting it, muted a couple of keywords, and stuck to my own little bubble of gardening groups and recipe blogs. Made a HUGE difference in my headspace. Now when I see crap like this, I just scroll on by.
