Vent: I finally watched that flat earth documentary my cousin kept pushing

I went in ready to laugh, but some of their 'evidence' about Antarctica access laws actually made me pause for a second. Has anyone else had a conspiracy theory catch them off guard like that?

That Antarctica treaty thing got me too. I looked it up and it's basically just an agreement to keep the continent for science, not some secret wall guard. But the way they present it, with all the official sounding paperwork, makes it feel plausible for a minute. I had a similar moment with the old "moon landing studio" theory when they showed that flag waving. It's those little visual details that make you go "hmm" before your brain catches up.
