Noticed something at a job site in Nashville that bugged me all day

I was measuring for a tile layout at a new build near the Gulch and the GC had his crew stacking drywall right on the damp slab. They'd been pouring concrete 4 days prior and the pallets left dark stains everywhere. When I asked about it, the foreman just shrugged and said it dries out on its own. I get the deadline pressure, but we all know that moisture gets trapped and you're asking for mold or warping later. Has anyone else dealt with a GC who ignores basic sequencing like this?

The foreman shrugging it off just tells me he's done it before and got lucky, or he doesn't care because he won't be the one dealing with the callbacks. It's not about being fancy or overthinking it, it's just basic building sense. Your gut was right to be bugged all day.
