Shoutout to the old-timer who told me some crews just don't care about mud lines
I was complaining to a 30-year concrete finisher about a sloppy driveway pour we had to tear out and he just laughed and said "that crew was gone before the sun hit it, they don't own a straight edge" and it hit me how much of this job is about who you work with, not just the tools, so what's the one thing you've seen a crew skip that drives you nuts?

Not checking the grade before they pour. Drives me bonkers every time (and I've seen it way too often).
