Kept losing my pencil behind my ear, switched to a $3 magnetic holder on my hard hat and stopped hunting
For 15 years I was always patting my pockets and behind my ear for a pencil while framing, wasting time on every layout. Last month I clipped a $3 magnetic pencil holder to my hard hat and I haven't lost one since, it's always right there when I need to mark a cut. Anybody else got a cheap trick that quietly saved your sanity on the job?
