My foreman laughed at me for caulking the tub before grouting, then the inspector showed up
I was finishing a bathroom remodel on a rental in Tucson last spring and my foreman Randy kept telling me to grout first and caulk the tub seam last, but I did it backwards anyway after reading the tube. The inspector walked in, ran his finger along the joint, and signed off without a word while Randy just stared at me. Does anyone else caulk the tub before grouting or am I the only one doing it backwards on purpose?
