That "ice rolling before filler" hack actually saved me $300
I got lip filler last month and the bruising was insane, like purple pillows for a week. My injector told me to ice roll for 10 minutes before the appointment next time, said it constricts capillaries. Tried it yesterday with a cheap $12 ice roller from Target and I barely got any bruising at all. Swelling went down in like 2 days instead of 5. Has anyone else tried this or got some other weird trick from their injector that actually worked?

Wait, isn't ice rolling before filler kind of risky though? My injector actually told me the opposite, she said warming the area first helps the filler flow better and prevents that lumpy look you can get with cold tissue. I saw a video of a girl who did the ice thing and ended up with a weird ripple effect around her mouth that cost like $200 more to fix. Maybe you just got lucky with bruising this time?
