After running a 50-ton Grove and a 50-ton Liebherr on the same site for 6 months, the Liebherr's independent boom extension was the clear winner for tight urban picks.
That single feature let me place a 4-ton HVAC unit on a downtown rooftop last week with a single setup, while the Grove would have needed a complete reposition and a second traffic closure.

Totally! That independent luffing jib is a lifesaver. We keep a chart in the cab for max radius with the extension out at different angles. Lets you plan the whole lift from one spot without guessing.
