Hit 10,000 hours on the same old Manitowoc 4100W
Always thought that number was just a saying, but the crane's log book doesn't lie. It made me realize how much of the job is just knowing every single sound and feel of your machine. Anyone else have a rig they've put that kind of time on?

Know exactly what you mean about the sounds. You get to a point where you can hear a single click out of place from three floors up. That kind of time turns the machine into an extra limb.
