It's funny how one random conversation can crack open a whole way of seeing things you never even questioned. That's like when I learned from a old carpenter that you should always let wood acclimate to your house before building with it, kind of the same principle that air and materials are in a constant, quiet negotiation. Makes you wonder what other invisible forces are at work in all the stuff we just take for granted.

Have you ever had that moment where something just clicks and you realize you've been doing it wrong for years? I had a similar thing with my houseplants (yeah, I'm one of those people). I always thought giving them a little bit of water every day was good, but a guy at the nursery told me they actually need deep, infrequent watering to grow strong roots. It's the same idea of letting things find their own balance, not forcing it. Really makes me look at all the "common sense" stuff around the house with a side eye now (like why do we all fold towels the same way?). It's wild how a simple chat can just flip your whole brain around on something you thought was simple.
