PSA: Fixed rate spreads are tightening faster than I expected
I was shopping a deal in Houston last week and the lender quoted me 165 over swaps on a 10 year fixed. Three months ago that same bank was at 185 over for similar quality multifamily. Anyone else seeing this compression on rate locks right now?

Heard a funny story from my neighbor the other day. He went to re-up his car registration and the DMV computer system locked him out for having a "suspicious" last name that was too many letters. Took three hours to sort out and they still charged him a late fee for not doing it online. Made me think about how everything's getting more complicated, not less.
