That Amazon seller who finally admitted their 'premium' cable was just a repackaged $5 one
I ordered a so-called high-end HDMI cable for $30 from a third-party seller on Amazon. After it arrived and showed the same performance as my old $5 cable, I pushed them until they admitted it was the same. Has anyone else gotten a seller to fess up like that?

Yeah that whole thing about "premium cables are a scam" I used to think people were just being cheap lol. I had this $50 Monster cable I bought years ago and I swore it made my picture better. Then I saw a post like this and tested it side by side with a $8 one from Monoprice. Could not tell a difference at all. Felt like a complete idiot honestly. Now I tell everyone to just get the cheapest one that's long enough for their setup.

Read some article that said Monster cables cost like a dollar to make. The markup is insane. Basically paying for the packaging.
