Unpopular opinion: Terrible service taught me to keep receipts
Lost a return because I didn't have proof. Now I scan everything and avoid headaches.

My friend got into a huge argument with a store over a sweater return last month. She swore she bought it there but they wouldn't take it back without the receipt. Scanning everything like you do is a solid move.

Why do stores act like they've never sold you a thing the second you lose that little piece of paper? My purse is basically a filing cabinet for ancient receipts now... I'm pretty sure I have one from 2019 in there just in case they come asking about a lightbulb. Feels like we need to treat every purchase like a major financial audit from here on out.
