Had the worst Wednesday in like five years last week...
I run a small fence crew over in Riverside, and last Wednesday was just a trainwreck from start to finish. We showed up to a job where the homeowner had flagged the wrong property lines, so we dug six post holes in the wrong spot before anybody caught it. Then my auger hit a buried sprinkler line that wasn't on any map, and water started shooting up like a geyser while the homeowner was screaming from the back porch. To top it off, my foreman called in sick that morning and the temp I brought kept asking me if we could break for lunch at 9:30 AM. By 2 PM it was 102 degrees and the concrete mix had hardened in the bags because I left them in the sun too long. I ended up buying lunch for the whole crew just to keep morale from completely tanking, and we still didn't finish half the posts we needed. Has anyone else had a day where literally every single thing went wrong like that?

Man oh man that sounds like a proper nightmare. I had a day like that last summer where I showed up to install some privacy screens and realized I left the entire box of screws sitting on my workbench at home, then my drill battery died on the first screw and my spare was also dead. Just sat there for ten minutes staring at the fence posts like a total idiot while the customer watched from their window. Sometimes I swear the universe just picks a day to mess with you for no reason. Hope this week treats you better man.

Nah, those days just build character. You remember the bad ones way better.
