Vent: My coffee shop order went sideways and I still tipped 20%

I was at the local Blue Bottle in Austin and asked for a simple black cold brew, but the barista handed me some foamy latte mess. I just smiled and paid the $5.75 anyway - do you take the loss or speak up when it's a tiny screw up?

Did you try just asking for a remake? I did that once and it worked out fine.

Yeah, the 'remake' idea makes sense, but I get why someone wouldn't want to ask. It's like, you're already holding up the line and the drink cost less than a sandwich, so you just eat the $5 and move on. But honestly, if it's a clearly wrong drink, just ask for the fix - baristas see that all the time and it's nbd.
