Took me a full month to figure out a stubborn milia extraction on a regular client

Had this client with a single, deep milia spot right by her eye. She's been coming to me for two years. Every facial, I'd try to get it. Used my lancet, my extractor, even tried softening it with steam for longer. Nothing worked, it was like a tiny pearl glued in there. I was ready to tell her to see a derm. Last week, I changed my whole approach. Did a much longer enzyme mask, like 20 minutes, and used a different angle with the extractor, almost flat against the skin. It finally popped out on the first try. Felt like a huge win after all that time. Has anyone else had a spot that just would not budge for ages? What finally worked for you?

Appreciation post: I used a cheap putty knife for a window glaze job and it was a total mess.

I used to think a torque wrench was just for carbon parts

Spent about $90 on a basic 5Nm Tekton wrench last year for a customer's carbon seatpost. It felt like a lot for one job, but then I used it on an aluminum stem and realized how many bolts I'd been over-tightening for years. The click is so clear, and I haven't stripped a single thread since. What's a tool you bought that you now use way more than you thought you would?
