Burned $300 on a 'quick' MLM side hustle that was never gonna work

I thought I could make fast cash selling health shakes for some company, but after the starter kit and a month of harassing friends I was down $300 with nothing to show. Has anyone else lost money chasing those get rich quick schemes and wish they'd just put that cash toward their debt instead?

Aw man, that sucks. Honestly I did something similar a couple years back with those essential oil starter kits. Spent like $250 thinking I could just sell to my friends on Facebook and it turned into a whole awkward thing where nobody wanted to buy and I was stuck with a bunch of oils I didn't even like the smell of. Tbh it's rough when you realize that cash could've gone straight to your credit card bill instead.
