That whole 5G towers cause covid thing my uncle keeps posting

I kept trying to show him the timeline, like 5G first rolled out in 2019 in a few cities, but covid was already spreading by December of that year. He pulled up some graph from a random website claiming the virus followed the tower map exactly. I found out the guy who made that graph was a conspiracy blogger with no science background. It got to the point where I just nodded and changed the subject. Is there a polite way to shut down this kind of talk without ruining dinner?

Honest question, are you sure you're not overthinking this? Like yeah it's annoying but is it really worth stressing over Uncle Dave's facebook rants?
