That time I found out my daycare was recycling the same snotty tissues all week
So last Thursday I picked up my 3-year-old from Little Sprouts on Maple Street and noticed the same gross tissue in her jacket pocket from Tuesday. I asked the teacher about it and she said they 'reuse them to save money.' I stood there holding a crusty tissue trying to figure out if I was being dramatic or if this was actually insane. The director told me it's part of their new 'green initiative' but come on, that's not green that's just cheap. Now I'm debating whether to pull her out and find a new daycare or stick it out because the spot is convenient and she actually likes the kids there. Has anyone else dealt with a daycare cutting corners in weird ways like this and what did you do?

Oh great, so now my kid's snot has a smaller carbon footprint than mine, what a relief. Next they'll start teaching the kids to compost their own boogers as part of "circle time" or something. Honestly, I'd pull her out before they start charging extra for "pre-loved" tissues in the monthly tuition bill.

@ninah10 Are they seriously billing for "rainbow snot" as part of the eco-curriculum now?
