But what if showing unfinished work messes with your own creative flow? I've found showing early stuff just makes me change things for other people, not myself. Honestly, it can ruin the original idea before it even gets going.

Funny how that works. Showing a friend my messy garden plans last spring got me tips on drainage I never would have thought of alone. Sometimes a fresh set of eyes on the early stages is exactly what you need.
