Rant: I keep seeing people skip the title block setup in AutoCAD 2024

It's wild to me how many files come across my desk with no project name, date, or drafter info in the title block. We used to get chewed out for that at my old firm in St. Louis, but now it's like nobody cares. It matters because when you're digging through archives from three years ago, you need to know who drew it and for what job. Does anyone else enforce this with their junior drafters, or is it just a lost art?

Let it go, the software tracks all that metadata now anyway.

Exactly, and that's the scary part. It's not just about tracking, it's about who gets to use that data and for what. These companies build detailed profiles that can affect everything from your credit score to job offers. We've handed over so much without really getting anything back. The real fight should be about owning our own information.
