My visit to the DMV in Austin showed me something everyone misses

I went to the DMV off Lamar last Tuesday and watched a guy get totally stonewalled by the clerk. Everyone else was nodding along, but I noticed the clerk kept looking at her watch and rushing him. We always blame the system, but I think the real problem is people don't call out the obvious dodging in the moment. Has anyone else caught an official just giving scripted answers to avoid the real issue?

Honestly, I kinda see it the other way. That clerk probably deals with a hundred people a day who all have some issue, and she's just trying to survive her shift. Tbh, calling someone out in the moment usually just makes them dig in further, not solve your problem.
