I swapped my banjo for a bazooka and it saved my back on a big job
Did a 4,000 square foot basement in Bakersfield last month and decided to try a bazooka trowel instead of my usual pan and hawk. Man, I was skeptical at first but after day one I was flying through the flat work way faster. My shoulder didn't ache near as bad either. Has anyone else made the switch and stuck with it?

Switched to a bazooka last year, never going back to the hawk.

You ever try a carbon fiber blade on the bazooka, @hugos67? I swapped mine out last month and it cut the weight even more. The flex on it lets me feather the edges smoother too without having to stop and adjust. That big basement job you did must have felt way easier on the body.
