Called BS on those 'green' LED shop lights until I saw my bill drop by $40 a month
My shop foreman swapped all our old fluorescent tubes for LEDs last spring. I figured it was just hype, but after three months the electric bill for that building was way down. Anyone else seen that kind of actual savings?

Yeah for real, my buddy runs a machine shop and saw the same thing. Those old tubes are just power hogs.
