Rant: The cleaning crew at the Midtown Medical Center keeps cutting my sensor cables

I was out at Midtown Medical Center in Atlanta last Thursday fixing a Level 1 car that kept throwing safeties, and I found three door sensor wires snipped clean. The new cleaning crew is using floor scrubbers on the elevator thresholds and catching the cables with the brush edge. Anyone else dealing with building maintenance crews that don't respect the hoistway clearance rules?

You tried talking to building management about giving the cleaning crew a heads up on where the sensors run? I've found that slipping the elevator mechanic's card to the head cleaner with a quick diagram saves a lot of repeat calls...
