My neighbor in apartment 4B always returns the shopping cart, and it got me thinking

I used to leave my cart in the lot near my car, figuring it was someone's job to get it. But seeing him walk it back every single time, even in the rain, made me try it for a week. The difference was just doing a small, right thing without anyone watching. How do you decide what small rules to follow when no one's around?

Honestly, it's the tiny choices that show your real character. I started noticing it with trash, like tossing a wrapper in my pocket until I find a can instead of just dropping it. Or putting a stray grocery item back in the right spot instead of leaving it on a random shelf. It's easy to cut corners when you're in a hurry and nobody sees, but doing it right feels cleaner, you know? Makes the whole place run a little smoother for everyone.
