Shoutout to the guy at the coffee shop who always brings his own mug, because I used to just grab a paper cup every morning but after seeing him do it for 6 months straight, I finally bought a travel mug and now I feel guilty on the days I forget it.
I mean, it's just a small thing, but idk, seeing someone else make that choice every single day made me actually think about the waste, so I switched about a month ago and now I'm stuck wondering if buying one reusable mug even makes a difference or if I should be doing more, like, has anyone else felt this weird pressure after making one small change?

Yeah that guilt is so real lol. Does it ever make you feel like you're just doing it for show now, or is the good habit actually sticking?

Honestly it felt like a show for a while. What helped was dropping the "perfect" version of the habit and just doing a tiny bit. Like if it's working out, just putting on the shoes and doing five minutes. After a few weeks of that, it started to feel real again, not just something to post about. The guilt faded when the action became small and automatic.
