The time clock app at my job is a total mess, so we all just guess our hours

This new software they made us use keeps freezing up, so my crew has been rounding up our time sheets to the nearest hour. Management hasn't fixed it yet, and now payroll is basically a group guess. Is it wrong to go along with it when the tool itself is broken, or do we have to make a big deal and slow everything down?

My buddy Jake's whole team got written up last year for rounding up on a broken time clock. The company called it "time theft" and docked their pay.

My laziness loves this system, I can't lie.

I get what you mean about laziness loving it, but I see it differently. Making things too easy can mean we miss out on better stuff just because it takes a little more effort. I've found that the extra few minutes to cook real food or learn a proper method often pays off way more. The easiest path isn't always the best one in the long run.
