Pro tip: My first attempt at wiring a 3-way switch in my own house was a total mess.

Honestly, after two days of frustration, I finally bought a voltage tester and realized I had the travelers reversed. Has anyone else had a simple tool completely change a job for them?

I mean, a voltage tester is great, but a non-contact one wouldn't have shown reversed travelers.
