PSA: I fixed my blurry photos by changing one camera setting I ignored for months

All my indoor shots kept coming out soft, and I blamed my old lens. After six months of frustration, I finally tried setting my minimum shutter speed to 1/125th in the auto ISO menu, something a friend in Seattle told me to do ages ago. Now my pictures are sharp because the camera won't let the shutter drag too slow. Has anyone else found a simple menu fix that solved a big problem?

Question if it's worth the trouble for most people. The photos end up on a tiny phone screen anyway. Feels like solving a problem that doesn't really exist.

It's the same mindset that makes people buy cheap headphones or watch movies on a laptop speaker. You get used to the lower quality and forget what you're missing. People scroll past blurry photos without a second thought, but a sharp image actually makes you stop and look. We're training ourselves not to care about detail, and it makes everything feel a bit more disposable.

Is a blurry photo really that big of a deal for casual indoor shots? Most people just post them online where you can't even see the softness. Seems like a lot of fuss over a minor menu setting.
