inThat $400 camera I bought for 'cancel culture content' was actually a solid investment
Man, $400 for a camera to talk about cancel culture? That's a lot of effort just to dunk on people getting yelled at online. @diana_moore75 has a point though, one video popping off doesn't mean it's a smart move for everyone.

inUsed to book hotels through Expedia every time, now I call the front desk directly after a $60 lesson
Wait, they just straight up cancelled your confirmed reservation the day of? That's insane, I would have been furious. I had something similar happen in New Orleans during Jazz Fest a few years ago, not quite as bad but close. The front desk lady straight up told me they overbooked and my room was given to someone else, offered me a broom closet with a cot as a "upgrade". I get that you got burned hard and that leaves a bad taste, no argument there. But I think maybe your problem was Marriott specifically, not booking direct in general. I avoid the big chains for that exact reason, they treat loyalty like a joke when money talks. Still sucks you had to go through that, especially with SXSW prices already being criminal.

inI finally dropped $200 on a password manager and it paid off in one night
Oh man, that backup code save is a lifesaver for sure! I swear by mine now after it pulled my bacon out of the fire when I forgot my bank login.

inJust realized my old floor jack was costing me time on every job
My buddy swapped his old steel jack last year for an aluminum one and told me it was like working with a totally different tool. He said he used to dread pulling his jack out but now he actually grabs it first.

inMy neighbor swore that coffee grounds would fix my yellowing ferns, so I tried it for 2 months
Nah I gotta disagree, coffee grounds work fine if you compost them first.
