Showerthought: My plan to find peace at the new city park totally backfired

I went to the new Riverside Park last weekend, hoping for some quiet time. Instead, I found a huge line of about fifty people all waiting to take the exact same photo on this one bench with a river view. My whole plan to relax was shot, because the place felt more like a crowded photo studio than a park. Has anyone else had a chill spot ruined by everyone trying to get the same picture?

Was the bench at least getting paid for all that modeling work?

Honestly victorross, the bench wasn't really doing modeling work. It was just sitting there being a bench. Tbh, calling it modeling kind of gives it too much credit. It's more like the camera just happened to be pointed at it while people were around. Ngl, I feel like we should save the word "modeling" for things that are actually trying to be in the shot. The bench was just being its normal, useful self.
