PSA: Switching to a lighter hammer changed my whole day.

I was using a heavy hammer for years, and my elbow hurt every night. Switched to a lighter one last spring, and the pain is gone. I can work faster and more accurately now. Don't overlook your tool weight, folks!

That's basically tennis elbow from hammer weight, not just swing force.

Reminds me of when I used my dad's old framing hammer to build a shed. That thing was a total brick, way heavier than my normal one. I was sore for days, but it was this deep ache in my forearm, not my shoulder. Totally felt like the weight just hanging off my arm did more damage than any swing.

Switched to a lighter hammer and that fixed it for me.
