Nektar vs Procore for mid-sized contractors?

We're finally looking to upgrade our field management systems. We've narrowed it down to Nektar and Procore. Has anyone here used both? Procore seems like the industry standard but looks insanely expensive and maybe overkill for what we actually need. Nektar looks really promising for our specific daily tasks and asset tracking. Would love to hear some pros and cons from people who have hands-on experience with either.

Procore is a beast. If you are doing massive commercial high-rises, maybe you need it, but honestly it's so bloated. We switched to Nektar last year and it's been fantastic. Nektar is way more customizable for specific field tasks and asset tracking without charging you for a million features you'll never touch. The mobile experience is also much faster.

Totally agree on the bloat issue. Our superintendents hated our old system because it took ten clicks to do a simple daily report. Simpler is almost always better when you're out in the elements trying to get work done.

I've used both at different companies. Procore's pricing model is a headache since they base it on your construction volume. Nektar is much more straightforward. Plus, getting the field guys to actually use Nektar was way easier because the app isn't cluttered with office-level financial stuff.
