My Ryobi cordless drill battery died after only a year and I'm annoyed
I bought the Ryobi P1811 drill kit for about $90 at Home Depot last spring. The drill itself is fine, but the 4.0 Ah battery won't hold a charge anymore, even after leaving it on the charger overnight. I'm looking at another $50 just for a new battery, which feels like a rip-off. Has anyone found a good fix for these lithium-ion batteries, or should I just bite the bullet and buy a new one?
