inMy brother-in-law told me to use a 2-inch putty knife for spackling a whole wall. I should have listened.
Oh man, I learned the hard way that a 6-inch taping knife is way faster for that.

inI finally realized I was stripping wire insulation wrong for years. A guy on a job in Phoenix saw me and just said 'you're gonna nick the copper doing it like that'.
My first week as an apprentice, I put the entire hydraulic hose assembly together backwards. The lead tech just stared at it for a solid minute before he laughed.

inMy aunt said I'd regret getting lip filler at 22, and she was right
Honestly, how much filler did you get? That's the key thing. A tiny bit might just settle in, but if you put a lot in young, it can look weird as your face keeps growing. I'd wait until at least 26 before adding more. Your bones are still changing shape underneath, so what looks good now might not later. It's better to let your face finish doing its thing first.

inShowerthought: I thought those Milwaukee M18 heated jackets were just a gimmick until I had to work in a Chicago winter.
Is your buddy the reason those jackets are always sold out? I mean, I finally get one and it's like a miracle, but trying to buy it was its own kind of cold misery. You spend weeks being a human popsicle, then you find the one thing that helps and you have to fight every other cold person for it. Maybe we should all just move somewhere warmer instead.

inShoutout to the book club member who argued we should read genre fiction
Remember when our group tried to read a mystery novel and half the table acted like it was a moral failing. They spent the whole meeting talking about "themes" and "subtext" while the rest of us just wanted to figure out who the killer was. It got so tense the librarian had to ask us to keep it down.
