Serious question, is it worse to have a toilet in the middle of the kitchen or a shower you have to walk through the bedroom to get to?

I saw this listing in the Phoenix suburbs where they converted a spare closet into a half bath, but the only way to it is walking past the kitchen island where people are eating. Then another house had the master shower accessed only through the walk-in closet. Which layout do you think is the bigger design fail, or is there some third option that tops both of them?

Wait, isn't a shower through the closet actually pretty common in old master suites?

Used to think that setup was just weird until I stayed at a house with one. It actually makes way more sense than I gave it credit for.
