Why did I ever think ketchup was better for fries?
I tried mayo on a whim and now I'm hooked. It's creamier and less sugary than ketchup.

Read an article about how mayo with fries started in Belgium. They've been doing it for ages over there. Makes total sense once you try it. Ketchup just overpowers everything with that vinegary sweetness. The mayo thing is about complimenting the fry, not covering it up. That article changed my whole view on condiments.

Changed your whole view on condiments" seems like a lot for a sauce choice. It's just fries, right? Do we need to overthink what we dip them in? I get having a preference, but calling ketchup overpowering feels a bit dramatic. Isn't the point just to eat the fries and enjoy them?
