Just learned my coworking space charges $150 extra for a window seat

Was talking to the front desk lady at my coworking spot in Austin. She casually mentioned the window desks run a premium. I've been sitting by the window for 3 months now. Never knew I was getting charged extra. Checked my invoices. Sure enough, $150 more each month than the basic plan. That's $1,800 I could've saved. Kinda annoying they don't tell you upfront. Anyone else get surprised by hidden fees at their workspace?

Yeah "legit didn't know that was a thing" is exactly how I felt when I first stumbled into it. I actually found out the hard way when I was trying to do something similar and ended up wasting like an hour clicking around. What finally worked for me was just straight up googling the specific terms people were using instead of trying to figure it out on my own. Once I saw a couple walkthroughs it clicked and now I can spot it from a mile away. Sneaky is the right word for it though, they really don't make it obvious.
