Swapped my standing desk setup for a floor desk last month
I used to have a $400 motorized standing desk from Autonomous, but I kept getting neck pain from looking down at my monitors. Now I'm using a simple wooden floor desk from IKEA with a cushion, and my posture is way better after 3 weeks of working on it. Has anyone else tried going from standing to floor sitting in their freelance workspace?

Simon's spot on. I noticed the same thing in my own workspace - the more I tried to fix posture with gadgets, the more those gadgets seemed to create new problems. The floor forces you to move around and shift positions naturally, instead of locking into one stubborn ergonomic setup. Plus, it's way cheaper than chasing the next fancy chair or standing mat.
