That lightbulb moment about my desk setup hit me after 3 years
I've been working from my dining room table since 2021 and always wondered why my neck hurt by noon. Last Tuesday I was adjusting my monitor for the 50th time and my wife walked by and just laughed. She said "you know your chair is lower than the table by like 6 inches right?" I never even thought to measure it. Turns out I had been looking down at my screen at a 20 degree angle for 3 years straight. The pain disappeared after I grabbed a stack of old textbooks to prop up the monitor. Now I'm wondering what else I've been doing wrong without realizing it. Has anyone else had a simple fix like this that made a huge difference?
