Rant: I thought shopping for delivery apps was chill until yesterday
Used to grab grocery gigs for extra cash. Got an order with twenty items and vague notes. Customer got mad because I picked green apples instead of red. Took forever and the pay was trash. Now I see it's more hassle than it's worth.

Those vague notes make the whole job a guessing game... and when you guess wrong, you get blamed for it. The apple thing is just one example of how picky people can be over tiny details. Spending forever on an order only to get paid peanuts doesn't add up. The apps seem to side with customers no matter what, so you're always on the hook. After a while, you realize your time and energy are worth more than that. It's why a lot of folks just stop doing those gigs altogether.

My buddy in Denver got a refund reversed after he showed GPS data... took three emails though. The apps do sometimes listen if you push hard enough with evidence. But you're spot on about the time spent versus pay... fighting those battles eats into your profits. Most drivers just let it go because the process is too much hassle. In the end, the little losses add up and make the job feel pointless.

Honestly, I once spent ten minutes trying to decide if 'light yogurt' meant low-fat or the color of the container. My brain still hurts from that one.
