Found out a fake job ad on LinkedIn was using a real company's logo with a slightly misspelled URL
Saw a posting for a data entry clerk paying $35 an hour, clicked the link and noticed the domain was 'companyname-hiring.com' instead of the real company name dot com, has anyone else caught these phony sites using brand logos?

Those misspelled URLs are just the start of the scam, the real trap is the interview over a chat app.

Nah, the chat app is just a phishing detour. The real catch is they want your bank info for "direct deposit" before you even start.
