Two scam job interviews last month, one asked for my bank info right away
First one wanted me to pay $50 for a background check before even talking to a real person. Second one sent a check for $2,500 to buy office equipment, and I knew that was a common fake check trick. Has anyone else noticed they always rush you into giving personal details?
Right? Anyone with half a brain knows that. Even those data entry gigs that promise big money for little work, they always want your routing number before you do anything. Nora's right on the money here - if they ask for your bank info before you even start, run the other way.
