Yeah that cage feeling is real, I felt that too. What helped me was calling my bank to lower the interest on my biggest card. Got them to knock it down a few points.

Felt that cage CLAMP SHUT when my car loan interest spiked last year. Called the lender and basically begged, got them to drop it two points by setting up auto-pay. The weight lifting even a little was HUGE.
