That podcast sponsor swore their mattress would fix my back pain in 2 weeks

I ordered a Purple mattress after hearing a sponsored segment on a true crime podcast. The host said her back felt brand new after 14 nights. Three months later my spine still hates me and now I'm stuck with a 1600 dollar pancake. Anyone else fall for a mattress ad that promised miracles?

Did you actually give it the full 30 day break-in period though? Most mattresses need time to soften up and mold to your body, it's not going to fix everything in two weeks like some magic pill. I've seen people blame the mattress when really they just have terrible sleep posture or need a firmer base. Not saying the ads aren't overhyped, but sometimes the problem is the user not the product.

yeah i had the same issue and honestly it took like 6 weeks before mine felt right, not the 30 days they advertise. you gotta just sleep on it every night and rotate it a couple times to speed it up.
