Heard my coworker brag about doing 60 hours of overtime this month and I just laughed
Dude was flexing like it was a badge of honor. I work third shift at a warehouse in Akron and I know what that extra time really is. Its just more time staring at conveyor belts while your brain turns to mush. I did 50 hours one December and my girlfriend told me I smelled like coffee and regret for two weeks straight. Some of us are just trying to survive the night shift, not win a trophy for who can sacrifice their sleep the most. Anyone else get tired of people acting like overwork is something to show off?

The coffee and regret comment got me lmao. That's such a perfect way to describe it. I don't get why people treat burnout like some kind of flex either, it's just sad at that point.

My buddy Mike bragged about 55 hours one month then passed out face-first into his dinner plate.
